Health and Safety Training This information is provided by Sandwell MBC’s
Learning Development Consultancy. Sandwell
Learning Development Consultancy is provides a programme of health &
safety courses for all schools within Sandwell- free of charge. Some of the
courses offered: Supervising Health and Safety To ensure Health & Safety roles are
clearly understood by staff COSHH Risk Assessment Those who use substances
hazardous to health at work and associated hazards. Visual Electrical Equipment Testing Employees with responsibility
for portable electrical visual testing. Practical Manual Handling Introduces employees to the
hazards of Manual Handling. IOSH Managing Safely in Schools Designated person with Health
and Safety responsibility in the school environment. Violence Intervention Enables individuals to deal
with threatening or abusive clients. Stress Awareness Raises awareness of work
related stress, options of control. Aimed at all staff. Courses for Premise Managers and Asbestos
Awareness also available. All you need to do to reserve a place, please
complete the online nomination form, at www.workforce.sandwell.gov.uk and follow the options to training.
