Are you receiving ATL Sandwell’s email
bulletin delivered to your desktop? Sign up to ATL Sandwell’s email bulletin, designed to
keep members informed of latest developments in under 400 words. Members
are appreciative of this service, which they find helps them professionally and
personally. It also reduces the amount
of uncertainly and rumour that circulates in all schools.
One single mailing by post to ATL Sandwell
members costs the branch around £200 and takes around ten days, by which time
you could have received two email bulletins. To join ATL’s networked
learning community simply and add your name and school in the text of the
email. Email bulletins contain
hot links to the local and national ATL websites, teachernet,
DfES, Sandwell’s Local Authority website, and other
agencies supporting the work of teachers. Topics
include health and safety updates, information on wellbeing,
professional development opportunities, ATL’s
training courses, new legislation and support from ATL. You may
unsubscribe at any time either by replying to the email with unsubscribe in the title, or by
ringing the branch office 01922 422755, 24-hour message service. Your
email address will be held on our secure database and of course is not
disclosed to anyone except ATL HQ. If you or a colleague
need help with simple free ICT training, to receive emails and explore the
ATL websites, we can offer that too, even in the comfort of your own school
or home, through the Union Learning
Initiative. Please contact the branch
office for details. |
