The primary curriculum
The Secretary of State has asked Sir Jim Rose to lead an independent
review of the primary curriculum. The QCA is
gathering evidence to support this work and will be asking a series of
questions over the coming months through TeacherNet's
discussion forums to gather your views. Use this opportunity to get
involved and help shape a world-class primary curriculum.

can start delivering some or all of the first fourteen Diploma lines
from September 2010. Anyone wishing to start delivering Diplomas will
have to apply through the Gateway process.

The Gender Agenda Seminars
As part of a focus on gender in schools and settings,
the DCSF is running a series of regional
seminars specifically for the research community. Each seminar will
last for about four hours and will include contributions from
researchers, including from DCSF and
teachers, on new and current research on gender issues plus discussion
groups and feedback.
